We've visited that place several times, and every single one was great. Staff is nice, overall services is very good. `One of the best breakfast places, they serve not only delicious Mexican style eggs, but also AMAZING waffles and pancakes. Highly recommended. Little cozy place

Angela’s Café is a hidden gem in the Eagle Hill neighborhood of East Boston. The food is authentic and full of flavor, with dishes that taste homemade and fresh. Prices are fair for the quality, and the service is friendly and attentive. The only downside is that the space is small, so seating can be limited during busy times. But if you don’t mind a cozy setting, it’s definitely worth a visit for a great meal. Highly recommend! This has always been one of my go-to places, and I’ve loved coming here for years. Unfortunately, today’s visit was really disappointing and left a sour taste. I was there to celebrate my partner’s birthday and mentioned that to our server, Jenny M, but it went completely unacknowledged. The restaurant was empty — we were the only guests — so I expected great service, but it was honestly the opposite. She got my order wrong, and I had to call her over several times before she finally came to the table, rolling her eyes as she did. When I politely mentioned the appetizer mistake, she took the plate and, as she walked away, said, “What? Are you allergic to chicken?” — even though my main dish was chicken. The comment felt rude and unnecessary. We’ve been loyal customers for years and chose this restaurant for a special occasion, but the service made it feel like a mistake. Even small gestures like turning the music up — something we’ve always enjoyed about the atmosphere — were ignored. We eventually played music from our phones just to lighten the mood. This experience was really disappointing, especially knowing how great this place can be. I hope management addresses this, because loyal guests like us truly value the restaurant and want to see it live up to its usual standards. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We were really disappointed with our experience at Angela’s. After jist moving into the neighborhood, we were so excited to find this chatming mom and pop restaurant. Our daughter has a soybean oil allergy, and instead of being helpful or reassuring, the staff was dismissive and unaccommodating. We were met with attitude rather than assistance, and after being told repeatedly that there were “no options,” our daughter ended up being so embarrassed at the table. It was an awful way to handle a serious food allergy and a family just trying to enjoy a meal for the holidays. As they said everything is made with soybean oil, even the rice and beans. To make matters worse, we were served five different burritos, all of which completely fell apart and were very skimpy on the meat. For a $19 burrito, the quality was extremely lacking. At that price point, you expect much better. The only positive was the atmosphere—the restaurant itself is very cute with a great ambiance. Unfortunately, good decor doesn’t make up for poor service, especially when it comes to food allergies. Between the food and the service (particularly the female waitress), we won’t be returning. There are far better places to spend your money. Price per person USD 20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Noise level Quiet, easy to talk Wait time No wait Dietary restrictions Terrible. I can't believe it took me this long to leave a review. Angela's Cafe's is rightfully a East Boston treasure. I've eaten everything here and never been disappointed. My favorite meal at Angela's is brunch. The pancakes are perfect, I usually opt for the huevos con chorizo. The staff is great. The atmosphere is colorful and fun. Trying to plan a date night that will impress but not over the top... Go here Meal type Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Authentic Mexican food is hard to find in the Boston area, but this place is the real deal. Mole and enchiladas are as good as any that you will find in Mexico. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu More

Stopped from on my way to the hotel from the airport. I have 3 days of conference food ahead of me and I needed something with flavor. Clean plate club!! It was perfect. No notes. And they had a place to stow my luggage which was a nice surprise. More
